Associate Dean for Academic Affairs
The University of Florida (UF) College of Nursing (CON) seeks outstanding candidates for the position of Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs provides transformational leadership in the educational mission of the CON. The Associate Dean leads faculty in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum. She/he is responsible for overseeing continuous improvement of the BSN, DNP and PhD programs in accordance with national, state, and University of Florida requirements. She/he represents the CON within the Health Science Center, the University, and in state and national arenas on matters related to the programs of instruction. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Associate Dean works closely with the CON’s administrative team to provide coordinated leadership of the college.
The Associate Dean reports directly to the Dean, and often represents the dean in academic matters in the College, the Health Science Center, the University and with external constituencies.
This position is located in Gainesville, FL and may have occasional travel to Jacksonville, FL. This is not a remote or online faculty position. This position is a tenure accruing position with an associated rank of associate or full professor.
Min Requirements: Doctoral preparation (PhD or DNP), Florida licensure or eligibility for Florida licensure. A graduate level degree (master’s or doctorate) in nursing. Four years of relevant experience in nursing education.

Associate Dean for Student Affairs
The University of Florida, College of Nursing is seeking an Associate Dean for Student Affairs (ADSA) who provides transformational leadership in directing the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) in College of Nursing (CON). The ADSA oversees student affairs and processes within the CON including recruitment, admission, progression, and retention procedures. The ADSA is an ex-officio member of the College Admission Advisory Committee and offers guidance regarding admission criteria and processes. This position is open to current UF regular/salaried faculty members only. Temporary faculty members are not eligible for this position.
This position is located in Gainesville, FL and may have occasional travel to Jacksonville, FL. This is not a remote or online faculty position. This position could be clinical or tenure-accruing depending on the applicant’s qualifications.
