Clinical Faculty Positions (non-tenured)

The University of Florida College of Nursing is seeking applicants holding a master’s degree, DNP or PhD in nursing with a background in acute care nursing, psychiatric mental health nursing, and/or community health nursing to teach didactic and clinical courses in the undergraduate BSN Program. Florida licensure or eligibility for Florida licensure is required for these full-time, 1.0 FTE non-tenure track faculty positions. Additional essential responsibilities include maintaining clinical expertise including credentials appropriate to specialty and teaching responsibilities, participating in clinical scholarship, participating in faculty meetings, serving on faculty committees and providing service to the university, community and profession of nursing.

These positions are located in Gainesville, FL. These are not remote or online faculty positions.

Master’s degree in nursing and recent clinical experience are minimum requirements for clinical lecturer.
DNP or PhD in nursing and recent clinical experience are minimum requirements for clinical assistant professor.

Advertising Summary:    The UF College of Nursing seeks a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner (24 hours a week) to provide health care at Archer Family Health Care, a nurse-led, team-based health center in Archer, FL. Archer Family Health Care provides high quality primary care and mental health services to residents in North Central Florida. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and provide primary care to include management of acute and chronic illness and preventive exams across the lifespan. Archer Family Health Care is working on Patient Centered Medical Home certification. The provider will play an active role in quality improvement initiatives, community-based activities, precepting graduate students and participation in an on-call schedule 2 weeks per year. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, including the under-served.

Minimum Requirements:             Master’s degree with 2 years’ experience in primary care is required.
