Job Description: The University of Florida College of Nursing is seeking a PhD prepared faculty member with a background in biobehavioral nursing science. We are interested in a creative and highly motivated individual looking to advance his/her academic career at the University of Florida. The successful candidate is expected to implement a program of research leading to external funding. He/she contributes to the organizational development of a community of scholars and will participate in all aspects of curriculum including teaching across programs.
This position is located in Gainesville, FL and may have occasional travel to Jacksonville, FL. This is not a remote or online faculty position.
Advertised Salary:Commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum Requirements: Registered Nurse, a PhD in nursing or related field, clinical nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications: PhD RN able to teach across programs and develop and sustain an externally-funded program of research. Candidates must be eligible for FL RN licensure. Post-doctoral research training preferred.
